Historic Preservation Subcommittee Chair Jerry Steach provided a written update:
The Ames Building (former home of the Lock Museum and locksmith on the 100 block of
Castro St.) is on the market. I’m told by one of the owners, though this isn’t public,
they’re asking $6.1 million! The listing agents are calling it a “renovation opportunity,”
but at that price, we should expect the eventual owners will want to do more than a
“renovation,” so it’s something we need to keep an eye on.

(15) ADJOURNMENT
Chair David Lewis adjourned the meeting at 9:02 PM
Respectfully submitted by Sam Blewis, OMVNA Secretary
