The Steering Committee is elected in the fall. For years, Steering Committee terms ran from November 1 to October 31. At the 2003 Fall General Meeting, the membership approved changes to the OMVNA By-laws. The terms of office for members of the Steering Committee now run from January 1 to December 31. Steering Committee members elected at the 2003 Fall General Meeting of OMVNA will serve from November 1, 2003, till December 31, 2004.
Here are the names of those who have served since OMVNA was formally established at a neighborhood meeting on September 20, 1992, as well as those who led it during the very active three and a half years prior to the adoption of by-laws and election of officers.
The Steering Committee is a group of volunteers from the Old Mountain View Neighborhood.

Before it became a formal organization with by-laws and elected officers, OMVNA was led by a Steering Committee that consisted of: Rich Baker, Linda Cantwell-Lum, Marian Concus, Chuck Darrah, Jeff Farmer, Kim Farmer, Judy Hunter, Tom Hunter, Janice Konevich, Ann Lewis, Steve Lewis, Paul McJones, Raquel McJones, and Eric Schweitzer. This was a time of tremendous accomplishment for the Association, culminating in the adoption of the Old Mountain View Neighborhood Preservation and Improvement Plan by the City Council.
