While many council candidates are running for a second, third, or fourth time, I am a fresh face who thinks Mountain View is ready for new, innovative ideas that preserve the community we love while implementing the change necessary for a better tomorrow.
Growing up on a family farm, I quickly learned the value of hard work and developed a passion for public service that inspired me to study Political Science and Economics at Stanford. I’ve made a career in technology and currently work for a Mountain View startup. I’ve managed union and nonunion employees and organized regional events for Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, and United Way. As an active Mountain View resident who enjoys local politics and advocating creative solutions, I’m ready to serve you on city council.
My top priorities are:
1) Prudent fiscal management that ensures future stability and protects our AAA credit rating
2) Environmentally sustainable goals and policies that make Mountain View a greener city
3) Smarter growth that mitigates congestion and adds needed housing and transportation options
4) Effective youth and family resources that leverage public/private partnerships
Open space preservation and pedestrian friendly infrastructure
Together, let’s make Mountain View a better city in which to live, work, and raise our families. Please join me and vote for Chris Clark. www.electchrisclark.com
