The first OMVNA General Meeting will be held on Monday, February 22 at 7:00 p.m. at Landels Elementary School, 115 West Dana Street.
A presentation will be given by Scott Ward of Classic Communities on the planned development of a 4-acre parcel immediately adjacent to the Minton’s parcel between Evelyn and Villa.
After the presentation, amendments to the bylaws will be discussed (please see bylaw amendments proposed). The amendments cover issues related to elections as follows:
Anyone may be nominated for a position on the Steering Committee and all names will be put on the ballot. (Nominations may still be made from the floor at the time of voting and uncontested elections will be approved by voice vote.)
In an effort to make voting more convenient, voters may drop of their ballot at any time during polling hours.
The requirement that the election be held in the Fall will be changed to elections must be held prior to the end of the year.
