Seth Shostak, Mountain View’s best known astronomer, has penned a new book: Confessions of An Alien Hunter. He will be speaking about it at Books Inc. (301 Castro) on Tuesday, June 16 from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Some of you may recall that Seth was the speaker at our November, 2007 General Meeting. He’s a supremely engaging speaker – I can imagine that all sentient beings living within a cou-ple dozen parsecs of Castro will want to drop by to listen.
Seth is a scientist at SETI, and his previous books include: Sharing the Universe, Life in the Universe, and Cosmic Company: The Search for Life in the Universe.
