We have a unique opportunity to help get food waste composting going in Mountain View as a whole, by making it a demonstrated success at this year’s Art & Wine Festival on September 11-12. All food vendors will be providing compostable servingware, and Green Mountain View will set up, monitor, and collect from special “compostables” bins, as well as the recycling and trash bins we managed last year. Please join us in introducing 200,000 people to separating food scraps before they “throw”, and helping to produce compost, not an overflowing landfill!
