Our historic Gateway Park at the corner of El Camino and Castro St. needs to be revitalized to be a real Gateway that Mountain View deserves and can take pride in. Time is of the essence as a developer is pushing forward with a seven-story housing project directly next to the park. This creates an urgent opportunity to come together to see the park revitalized, along with the block surrounding it. The five slides here make a case to come together and help our City Council, the housing developer, and the Parks and Recreation Dept. move in a direction that will make the Gateway to Mountain View something special for generations to come.
