Colorful outfits and countless bunny ears filled the Saturday morning streets of our Neighborhood. Over 1680 treat filled plastic eggs were hidden across 35 Old Mountain View locations on April 23 for the very first Neighborhood Egg Crawl.
Participants signed up in advance online to be Hunters or Hiders. 136 Hunters used a color coded egg map to scooter, skip and scour the neighborhood for the hidden treasures.
Over half of the hunters were under 5 years old, and one third being between 6-10 years old.
A giant THANK YOU is extended to all the Hiders who supplied treats and their front yards and/or parking strips for this special event.
Plans to re-use the plastic eggs next year are in the works! •
Stay tuned for more events.
