About the Grant

This grant’s intent is to encourage individuals outside of OMVNA Eventors to organize events on topics of interest for the Old Mountain View Neighborhood. Topics could include but are not limited to: Safety, awareness, educational, interdependence and enrichment.

This additional grant program has been established in alignment with the Old Mountain View Neighborhood Association’s purpose of promoting cultural, civic, social, educational and recreational activities for the benefit of the residents of the Old Mountain View neighborhood.

Pilot Program 2026  

Applicants/street location may receive a maximum of one grant annually. Annual budget for the program is $1500. The program will be reviewed after one year.

Grant Process  

  • Complete the application and email to grants@omvna.org.
  • Submit at least 4 weeks prior to the event to be considered for this grant.
  • Applications are reviewed by the OMVNA Leadership team.
  • The OMVNA Leadership team will review and respond within 7 business days.

Reimbursement for Approved Event Expenses

  • Maximum reimbursable amount for an approved event is dependent upon the number of OMV neighbors who participate as specified in the Grant Tiers above.
  • Reimbursable expenses include food, drink (with the exception of alcohol) supplies, equipment, and permit and/or license fees and are reimbursed after the event.
  • Receipts must be submitted via the Neighborhood Initiative Grant Portal within 2 weeks of the event date.
  • Attendance sheets are required for Tier verification.
  • The Leadership team reserves the right to increase the grant amount at their discretion.
  • Approval of grant is no guarantee that a future grant for the same event will be approved in subsequent years due to budget restrictions and neighborhood participation.

City Regulations & Requirements

Applicants are responsible to be aware of and follow any city regulations and requirements and to procure any and all necessary permits and or licenses they need to plan and execute the event.
