Old Mountain View residents share their favorite spots for holiday lights

Recently on OMVNA-talk, residents shared their favorite spots in the South Bay to see holiday lights. Snuggle up in your winter coat and go check them out!

  • Estate drive off of grant by fremont. Short dead end street w/ really nice homes and they are usually all decorated. Great indiv. And amazing combined
  • Vasona Park in Los Gatos has always had a great light festival in the past. It’s a drive thru…
we usually bring hot cocoa in a thermos and eat Christmas cookies.
  • I saw some off of Phyliss (behind nob hill & over to Cuesta Park)  i went cruising there last year…got lost too! but the lights were great!
  • Not in MV, but Fulton Street in Palo Alto is known locally as Christmas Tree Lane.  I think their CC&Rs require them to decorate for the holidays…it may just be the two weeks before Christmas–but it’s pretty special…
  • Have you ever been to Willow Glen, part of San Jose?
See streets such as Camino Pablo, Willow. In this neighborhood many of the houses on certain streets buy little trees which they decorate in front of the house.  The effect, of lighted trees almost entirely up and down the street, is like a wonderland. My friends live there.  They deliver trees each year and are delivering them this Saturday so next weekend (12/12) would be the ideal time to go.
