Old Mountain View is the neighborhood in Mountain View, California, that is bordered by El Camino Real, Shoreline Boulevard, Evelyn Avenue, and Highways 85 and 237. It encompasses over 2400 residences as well as Mountain View’s downtown business district.

The October edition of the OMVNA newsletter is our special election edition. Each candidate for City Council has submitted a message for the OMVNA neighborhood.

Website Photo Contest
We want to see your pictures of Old Mountain View on our new website! If your photo is selected, you will win a $10 gift certificate from Books, Inc.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Faces, faces, faces! We want to see people enjoying themselves around OMV.
- Color our world. The new site is full of color and we need pictures that are too.
- It’s in the eye of the beholder. Your photo doesn’t have to be “artistic.” Even the simplest snapshot will make a great addition to the site.
- There’s no place like home. We’re looking for photos that are unique to Mountain View. What makes Mountain View special to you?
To enter, just send your photos to webmistress@omvna.org. Ten winners will be selected and announced on the website and in the next newsletter. By sending us your photo, you will be giving us permission to use it on the site if it is selected.
The deadline for this contest is midnight, November 7th. Please have your photos sent to webmistress@omvna.org no later than the deadline.
